		Marlene and Fred started the Burnie Club in 1991

		They learned to dance with Bev and Kevin Smart at Tassie's Tavern
About Us		and later at the Burnie Scout Hall. From this point they received pro
		-fessional guidance from some of the best teachers in Australia.
Repertoire
		Marlene and Fred now run the dances at St. Georges Hall Cattley
Find Us		Street Burnie, Wednesdays and Fridays.
		They have taught one hundred and forty sequence dances including
Gallery		eight of their own creations.
Links		Fred and Marlene's dance creations are Karamar, Three Step,
		Tassie Blues, Swallow Waltz, Apple Isle Waltz, Eternity Waltz,
		and Bayside Blues.
		Fred and Marlene commenced teaching privately in 2000 at St.
		Georges Hall Friday nights. To assist beginners who could not
		dance and those who needed refreshing with dance sequences.
		This gave them confidence to start with our main group of club
		dances on Wednesday nights and the opportunity to make some
		great friendships and to have fun.
